How To Use the Infuser Basket/Strainer
The 'Sacred infuser basket and strainer fit inside the bottle at the top. They will lightly click into place.
The infuser basket and strainer come attached. Simply unscrew them to use as you prefer, together or separate. If you use the strainer at the top by itself, simply place your ingredients inside the bottle body.
How To Care For:
As in life, all things of value require attentiveness and care, especially glass. The benefits of drinking from glass are worth the extra care - we promise!
Your tea tumbler will last many years providing you are aware….
Do NOT use metal spoons or instruments inside the glass bottle as this can break the glass.
Do NOT place in the dishwasher. Hand wash only and hand dry the lids straight away.
Do NOT drop large chunks of ice into the glass body, as this will break the inner glass - use crushed ice only, or place ice into liquid with care.
Do NOT twist the lids on too tight, as this can create a fracture in the glass.
Do NOT carry bottle in a bag as it’s easy to forget and may break if placed down too hard.
Do NOT microwave or freeze glass or any parts.
How To Prevent Leaks:
If you are experiencing any leakage, check to make sure the silicon seals are in place. The silicon seals are what prevent leaks, but are also designed to be removable so you can wash them every few months.
Make sure the grooved surface of the seal is facing OUT, and the smooth side of the seal is facing IN to the lid, and that it fits evenly inside the lid.
Ensure the correct lid is used on the right end. The lids are interchangeable, but sometimes one will fit better on the other end. You can check this by filling the tumbler with cold water over the sink and testing. If one end leaks, swap the lids around and test again.
Only fill your tumbler to the height of the top of the strainer (1 inch from the top of the bottle). This will prevent heat/air/steam pushing water out through the lids, whereas overfilling will cause leakage.
Do not over tighten the lids as this can cause a fracture in the glass / leakage.
Things To Note:
As with any glass product, be careful around hard surfaces. Since we are more accustomed to plastic water bottles, it’s easy to forget the tumbler is a glass product and will break if set down too hard on a hard surface, or if it is knocked over.
The Double Walled Glass is for insulation, not extra strength. Thus, if you drop the bottle, it will most likely break. The outer glass is durable, however, the inner layer of glass is thin so that heat or cold can travel into the vacuum layer between the glass. This allows for insulation of the temperature. Please be aware of the thin layer of glass inside when adding ingredients, do not use METAL spoons, or drop large chunks of ICE into the bottle. If the vacuum is compromised, the glass will shatter.
Going from hot to cold too quickly can also cause the glass to break, so be sure that your glass bottle has cooled to room temperature after washing before you put in cold water, and especially ice inside.
Summary: The bottle is likely to break if you add ice at force, change temperatures quickly, knock the bottle over, or hit a hard surface. Please be present and connected whilst using Sacred.
How To Wash:
The 'Sacred’ glass bottle is not dishwasher safe. We like to wash ours by hand with a bottle brush.
The lids, infuser and strainer should also be washed by hand only. After washing, ensure the silicon seals are in place, with the grooved surface facing into the lid. This prevents leakage.
Stainless Steel + Glass Tip:
Over time, tea and coffee can leave stains on your infuser and glass. To restore your infuser to a stainless steel color, put baking soda on an old toothbrush and gently clean your infuser and glass bottle - this works wonders on both stainless steel and glass.

Check that your Silicon Seal Is in Place
This seal is what prevents leakage but can sometimes be lying on the top of your tumbler lip when it arrives. Re-place into your bamboo lid, with the grooved side facing up and out of the lid, and smooth side facing down and into the lid and gently press into place with your finger or a spoon.

Before First Use:
Clean all parts in hot soapy water (not containing bleach or chlorine). You can also use lemon or vinegar if there is any packing scent. Hand wash only. Dry the bamboo immediately, and allow the bottle to air without the lid overnight. If strong scent persists, air for 48 hours.

Ensure the lid is properly secured while on the move.
Keep out of reach of children when filled with hot liquid.
How To Wash:
The ‘Love’ Tea Tumbler is not dishwasher safe - we like to wash ours by hand with a bottle brush. Hand wash all parts. Do not soak the bamboo in water. Dry immediately as natural bamboo expands, and then can crack.
To avoid buildup from possible fermentation, do not leave dairy or citrus beverages in the product for more than 12 hours.

Taking Care of Your Leather Journal
There is something special about a leather journal, that evokes and provokes the imagination into motion. Here below are some tips for ensuring your treasured journal stays beside you on the journey.
1. Keep your leather journal dry
If it leather gets wet, it can shrink or even crack. If your journal does get wet, blot dry with a towel, or place in front of a fan. Do not apply extreme heat or dryness, as this can also shrink or crack your leather. Applying leather conditioner will also help to maintain the suppleness of the leather and prevent mold or mildew.
2. Keep your Journal away from extreme heat
Heat such as a fireplace, heater, or even direct sunlight for long periods of time, can cause leather to dry out and become brittle.
3. Keep Your Journal clean and moisturized
It takes just a few minutes to clean and moisturize leather with a leather conditioner, helping it last for years to come.
4. Keep your leather journal away from chemicals
Avoid exposing your journal to any chemicals such as bleach, alcohol, or silicone. Silicone can keep leather from “breathing”. This can cause it to become brittle and eventually fall apart.
5. Saddle soap can clean some stains but not all
To clean, use a small amount of saddle soap and a damp cloth to remove stains such as food, oil, blood, coffee stains. Simply follow the directions on the tin. Use the damp cloth to gently rub it into the leather and then buff it out as you would on any other leather item. For best results, apply leather conditioner afterwards, and continue to buff.
6. Scratches and scuffs add character!
Due to the softness of genuine leather, it’s almost impossible to not get scuffs and scratches. We love the character and genuine feel this adds to our journals. However, if you prefer to minimize scratches, keep your journal away from sharp metal edges and avoid carrying or storing near anything with a wire / spiral binding. You can rub some scratches out, or use a boot or shoe polish to rub out a deeper scuff, and then buff with a soft brush.
Lighting and Storing Your Balinese Incense
100% Organic with no toxins, chemicals or glue: Our incense sticks are made in Bali from natural, organic and sustainably produced flowers, spices and herbs. Importantly, they are also made without any preservatives, chemicals or glue. Because there are no chemical binding agents, they are rolled as thick (fat) and short sticks, rather than long and thin, so that they bind naturally in the drying process. This produces a unique, healthy and longer burning “fat” stick.
Take longer to light, but worth the wait: Because there are no chemicals, you might find that these sticks take a little longer to light - just know that it's absolutely worth waiting, your lungs and body will thank you! Simply hold the incense stick in the flame a little longer than usual and you’ll be good to go. Note: Allow the incense to burn and “settle” a few minutes in the room - kind of like opening up a good bottle of wine. The scent may seem less strong than normal initially (again, no added perfumes or chemicals, only natural ingredients), but will gradually permeate the room gently and beautifully.
1 hour burn time per stick: These “fat" incense sticks will also burn for much longer than usual - over an hour per stick. Of course, you can burn each stick for as little or long as you want - simply “smudge” it out when finished and keep for its next use. You can keep the stick you are using on your incense tray, but the others we recommend storing in the packet they come in, or inside some paper wrapping (not plastic as the incense can’t “breathe”) and keep them somewhere dry and at room temperature or below. Keep away from moisture and direct sunlight.
Subtle + Beautiful Scent: Remember, these are made with organic, and natural ingredients only. Unlike some brands, they have not been dipped in perfume to give a strong smell. This scent is subtle, so they may not smell as strongly as others when you open the packet.
Hand-rolled + Blessed by Balinese Artisans: These sticks are hand rolled by Balinese master artisans who sing traditional prayers and blessings during the making. As you light the sticks, set an intention, feel a feeling and offer it to the Universe, or God as you understand it to be, or to your highest self.
